St. Nicholas St. Nicholas of Myra, Lycia

Troparion-Tone 4

The truth of things hath revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith, an icon of meekness, and a teacher of temperance. For this cause thou hast achieved the heights by humility, riches by poverty. O Father and Hierarch Nicholas, intercede with Christ God that our souls may be saved.

Kontakion-Tone 3

Thou wast a faithful minister of God in Myra, O Saint Nicholas. For having fulfilled the Gospel of Christ, thou didst die for the people and save the innocent. Therefore thou wast sanctified as a great initiator of the grace of God.

St. Nectarios St. Nectarios of Pentapolis

Troparion-Tone 1

The offspring of Selyvria and the guardian of Aegina, the true friend of virtue who didst appear in the last years. O Nectarios we faithful honor thee as a Godly servant of Christ. For thou pourest forth healings of every kind for those who piously cry out, glory to Christ who hath glorified thee, glory to Him who hath made thee wonderous, glory to Him who worketh healings for all through thee.

Kontakion-Tone 8

Let us sing praises with gladness of heart to the newly-shining star of Orthodoxy, to the newly-built bastion of the Church. For being glorified by the power of the Spirit, he pours out the immortal grace of healing to those who cry out: Father Nectarios, rejoice!

St. Marina St. Marina the Virgin Martyr

Troparion-Tone 5

O glorious Marina betrothed to God the Word, thou didst abandon all things earthly and contest victoriously as a virgin. For thou didst trample on the invisible foe when he appeared, O holy trophy-bearer, and thou dost now bestow gifts of healing on the world.

Kontakion-Tone 3

Adorned with the beauty of virginity, thou hast been crowned with unfading wreaths, O Marina. Having shed thy blood in holy martyrdom and radiant with miracles of healing, thou hast received the prize of victory from the hand of thy Creator.

St. Theodore St. Theodore the Studite

Troparion-Tone 3

As partaker of incorruptible gifts, thou wast thyself the Church's gift. O Theodore, for in following sacred doctrines thou wast a light of true profession. Pray to Christ our God to grant us His great mercy.

Kontakion-Tone 2

Thy life was radiant with thine ascetical struggles, O Theodore blessed of God, and thou didst become a companion of the Angels. Together with them intercede with Christ our God that He may save us all.

St. Euphrosynos St. Euphrosynos the Cook

Troparion-Tone 4

Thou didst live righteously in great humility, in labours of asceticism and in guilelessness of soul, O righteous Euphrosynos. Hence, by a mystical vision, thou didst demonstrate most wondrously the Heavenly joy which thou hadst found. Deem us also worthy to be partakers thereof by thine intercessions.

Kontakion-Tone 4

We laud Saint Euphrosynos, the most wondrous ascetic, who took up the Cross of Christ and shone forth in humility; for by the vision of Paradise his Christ-like virtue by God was made manifest.

St. Catherine the Great Martyr

Troparion-Tone 5

Let us praise the divine Catherine, the all-lauded bride of Christ, the protectress of Sinai, our help and support;  for with the sword of the Spirit, she brilliantly silenced the sagacious ones of the impious.  And being crowned now as a martyr, she asketh great mercy for all.

Kontakion-Tone 2

O ye martyr-lovers, rise up in solemn chorus now in inspired manner and acclaim the supremely wise Catherine;  for she preached Christ in the stadium and trampled upon the serpent, and spat upon the knowledge of the philosophers.

Sts. Constantine and Helen

Troparion-Tone 8

O Lord, Thy disciple Emperor Constantine, who saw in the sky the Sign of Thy Cross, Accepted the call that came straight from Thee, as it happened to Paul, and not from any man. He built his capital and entrusted it to Thy care. Preserve our country in everlasting peace, through the intercession of the Mother of God, for Thou art the Lover of mankind.

Kontakion-Tone 3

Today Constantine and Helena his mother expose to our veneration the Cross, the awesome Cross of Christ, a sign of salvation to the Jews and a standard of victory:  a great symbol of conquest and triumph.
